Bay Area Jewish Healing Center

Program Overview

The Bay Area Jewish Healing Center (BAJHC) is dedicated to providing Jewish spiritual care to those living with illness, to those caring for the ill, and to the bereaved through direct service, education and training, and information and referral.

The Healing Center was established in 1991 as the nation’s first Jewish healing center, and joined Institute on Aging in 2004. BAJHC receives generous support from the Jewish Federation of San Francisco; the Peninsula, Marin, and Sonoma Counties, Mount Zion Health Fund; and various foundations and individuals. Services are offered regardless of synagogue affiliation or the ability to pay.
