Memory Care
Memory loss can be frightening, but the most important thing you can do is to become informed and take charge as soon as possible.
Once you identify the cause or causes, you can make the most informed choices for treatment and future planning. Alzheimer’s disease, depression, stroke, infections, and medication reactions may all cause disorientation and/or memory loss. It is important to understand not only what is causing the problem, but also what treatment or care options are available.
No matter what the condition, you owe it to yourself or your loved one to make sure you are fully informed of all available resources and current research, and that you begin planning for the best treatment available. Difficult decisions may be in the future, but IOA can provide the professional guidance to help you or a loved one continue to live comfortably at home for as long as possible.
At IOA, we offer a continuum of services for those who may be experiencing memory loss or other mental impairments related to dementia. We can help you diagnose the condition and provide options for treatment or care, and help you arrange all the support services you need at home.
